Sorry to say, but I would download Fedora 10 and start from scratch. i know i did. yum update --enablerepo=extras These instructions are assuming your internet connection is active and your CentOS 6.4 install has a valid IP address (displayed using ifconfig). The original FC6 install DVD had a bug that installed the i586 kernel even on i686 capable cpu's, and 'uname -a' reported i686 installed when it was not.
